“Goalie Power" Program
Goalie Power caters for both female and male goalkeepers.
Under the guidance of Tomaz Lasic, Danielle Woodhouse and Lil Hedges, we will build on the comprehensive look at the basics of movement as a goalkeeper during winter months and shift focus to reaction, anticipation, and understanding of the game by working closely with field players.
Through practical drills and simulations, goalkeepers will better understand their roles within different defensive systems and learn how to communicate effectively with their teammates to build and run a solid defence.
Goalkeepers will be split into three groups (Bronze, Silver and Gold), depending on their age and ability.
While the program is most suitable for boys and girls born 2007-2010, any older goalkeepers (male or female) are very welcome to join us. For goalkeepers just starting out, we will run various taster clinics and camps throughout summer. Please follow our Goalie Power Facebook page for updates and events.
